There’s a bit of shuffling going on in downtown Bellevue. High-tech clients are moving around the city, with Blucora (formerly InfoSpace) announcing today that it plans to moves it corporate headquarters to 36,763 square feet of space in the Plaza Center building at 10900 NE 8th Street.

That’s a stone’s throw from the company’s current office space in the Key Center building at 601 108th Avenue NE, a 22-story building where Motricity (interestingly which purchased assets of the old InfoSpace) recently announced plans to terminate its lease. Earlier this year, Concur announced plans to move into the Key Center building next year, taking over 122,742 square-feet of space with options for more.

Blucora, which signed a seven year and seven month lease at the new Plaza Center Building, said it plans to move in next March. Base rent for the space is $94,971 per month.

We’ve got an email into the company to see if this represents more or less space for the company, and we’ll update as we learn more.

Blucora earlier this year purchased Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based TaxACT for $287 million, expanding its presence in the online tax preparation business.

UPDATE: The company currently has 42,000 square feet of space in the Key Center building. “We are excited about our new headquarters, as it will have an updated and vibrant look and feel, to better reflect the dynamic and fun culture at Blucora,” said a company spokeswoman. ” The new space will have a more modern and efficient layout, fostering collaboration while accommodating our growing team.”
