Amazon’s “Send to Kindle” tool is one of my favorite little technological tricks. I use it all the time to quickly send an article from my web browser to read later on my Kindle.
I’ll often use it when I encounter longer articles that I want to spend more time with than possible during the workday. Great way to queue up good content for reading at night. The article headlines appear on the Kindle home screen just like other content, for easy access.
There are third-party tools that enable this, as well, including Instapaper and Pocket, but I’ve had the best luck with Amazon’s own “Send to Kindle” extension for Google Chrome. Today the company debuted a new extension for Firefox that does the same thing, and said support for Apple’s Safari browser is coming soon, as well.
How about some love for Internet Explorer users? I asked, but Amazon says it has nothing to announce on that front at this point.
