Windows Phone continues to bolster its library of apps, and for some reason Microsoft seems to be having more than its share of luck courting food-oriented ventures headquartered in its home region. Seattle-based Allrecipes today released its Dinner Spinner app for Windows, developed by the Wire Stone digital agency.

The debut follows Amazon’s release of an AmazonFresh app for Windows Phone last week.

One unusual feature of the Allrecipes Dinner Spinner app for Window Phone: The automatic lock screen function can be turned on or off from within the app, keeping the phone from going to sleep when the user’s hands are covered with flour or other cooking ingredients.
