One of the highlights of the Penny Arcade Expo each year is a session called “Pitch Your Game Idea” — often described as the American Idol of Video Games. (As in the early rounds of American Idol, when they’re holding the auditions.)

See our rough video about with selected highlights from this afternoon’s session, with judges Kris Straub, Greg “Porkfry” Hjertager and Jeff Kalles serving the traditional roles of judges and peanut gallery.

Random question: Where were the women this year? Unless I missed someone, every single person who pitched was a guy. Granted, the PAX audience skews decidedly male, but some of the most creative pitches in past years came from women.

        The problem was their insensitive and drawn out response to the community’s reaction of their shirt. They didn’t address the issue until it started impacting the bottom line …
