Market Leader today announced the purchase of SharperAgent, a Denver company that helps real estate agents roll out print and email marketing campaigns. SharperAgent, and its staff of 25, plans to remain in Colorado as a result of the deal.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“SharperAgent is recognized as the leader in providing world-class customized marketing solutions, and we are eager to combine the strengths of our two companies to better serve our collective customers and the entire real estate professional community,” said Market Leader CEO Ian Morris.

Morris declined to disclose the purchase price, but he noted that the company is “investing in building” and “acquiring as the right opportunities arise.”

SharperAgent  provide services to more than 30,000 real estate agent users across North America.

Could more acquisitions arise? Perhaps, as Market Leader’s Morris didn’t rule out that possibility in an email interview.

“We are responding to a clear and growing demand from industry leading brokerage firms and franchises for one comprehensive, integrated software solution that meets all of their business needs as well as the needs of their real estate professionals.  As you saw with our announcement of the Market Insider launch this week, we are investing in building as well as acquiring as the right opportunities arise.”
