OK, so we know that Microsoft interns work really hard, in the process of getting some great experience and contributing to their designated team. But wow, from the outside it looks like a pretty sweet gig.

The annual Microsoft intern bash, held this past week at Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo, featured a concert by Dave Matthews, and free Xbox 360 Kinects for all of the interns.

“Yeah, it was kind of an ‘Oprah moment,’ ” says the Microsoft JobsBlog in a post describing the bash.

“Of course, internships shouldn’t just be about perks and fun,” the post continues. “Launching a career is a pivotal time in any student’s life, and gearing up with the right internship that can give you real-world experiences is more important than ever. That’s the best benefit of interning at Microsoft—but we’ve got to have some (ok, a lot of) fun along the way, right?”

But getting back to the party, it also featured this “flash dance mob,” below. Sharon Chan of the Seattle Times has more on the making of this particular moment.
