ExtraHop Networks is adding some horsepower in the executives offices, tapping former RadioFrame and Newpath Networks executive Palvi Mehta as chief financial officer. ExtraHop, which helps companies monitor the performance of applications, has been undergoing a significant growth spurt in recent months. Spokesman Justin Baker says the company has more than tripled its workforce in the past 12 months, now employing about 50 people.

“We’ve got a good vision, and we are continuing to sign up customers,” Baker said. ExtraHop is led by Jesse Rothstein, a former F5 Networks developer.

“As we position the company for the next stage of growth, Palvi is an ideal choice to lead our financial strategy and operations,” Rothstein said in a press release.

The company raised $5 million from Andreessen Horowitz and Madrona Venture Group in 2009.
