Maybe Alex Trebek is a secret FailBlog fanatic. The wildly popular humor Web site — developed by the folks at Seattle’s Cheezburger Network — was the subject of a little Jeopardy trivia this week.

You know you’ve hit the mainstream when your company’s product appears on a game show. It’s even better if folks actually know the answer.

Unfortunately, all three of the contestants failed to identify one of Seattle’s quirkiest Internet companies. (Maybe we’ll see their failure on FailBlog later).

Here was the question: “A sign reading ‘Children left unattended will be towed away at owner’s expense” is seen at”

Sorry about that. Not sure what happened. I just added it to the post again.

        That’s better. Thanks!

Funny. One of my previous companies, btw, was mentioned on Jeopardy a couple years back (in the clue, not the answer), and it was an easy one:

“In 2007 this company lost a trademark suit against Spam Arrest, a Seattle maker of anti-spam software”

I think I know the answer, but I don’t want to ruin it for folks. Was this really on Jeopardy?

I love the museum of the corporate parent, which I visited in Austin, Minnesota several years ago. Great museum by the way if you ever get a chance to go.
