The new 8 foot by 6 foot mural at Evo Media's headquarters in Seattle

Some companies reward staffers with holiday parties. Others give a nice little bonus or extra time off.

Evo Media Group co-founder Mark Michael wanted to do something a little different, so he commissioned renowned Seattle graffiti artist Jeff “Weirdo” Jacobson to spice things up around the office. Weirdo’s work with spray paint can is truly striking, and you may have seen some of his amazing creations around the city.

The Evo Media piece follows Weirdo’s distinctive style, an eight foot tall by six foot wide face made entirely with spray paint.

“The basis of the work is that the girl as the everyday human being influenced by design and technology,” writes Weirdo in a blog post.  “I think this piece has an elegant light feel, and I absolutly want to pursue this direction of style more in 2012.”

Michael is thrilled with the piece, saying that he wanted to “add a little flair to the office before going into the New Year.”

Big tech companies already donate a portion of their funds to art work. Now, maybe we’ll see a new crop of startups turn to spray paint artists to decorate drab white walls.

Or, they could just continue to fill their windows with more Post-It note creations.
