I’m a little bit nervous sharing this video with the Seattle community but I firmly believe that leaders need to be willing to do all the jobs in an organization. As the Leader of TechStars in Seattle, I had the unique pleasure of getting to plunge the toilet today after one of the TechStars entrepreneurs left a bodily deposit that didn’t make it through all the plumbing. You know it’s one of those times for the CEO or leader to step up and take one for the team — and in a weird way, I’m actually proud of the example I’m setting for all the entrepreneurs in the TechStars program. You know the saying “Leaders of organizations need to be willing to do the dirty work”.  Watch the video here.
