I was talking to a first time entrepreneur recently who was explaining their plan for the rest of 2010. The plan was very rational. It was orderly. The documents supporting the plan were well done and well thought out — they were “clean”.  My advice to him was make a mess! Scramble the eggs!
Early stage company creation is designed to be messy.  Embrace the mess creation — you can always clean up, get orderly, and optimize once you have a bunch of customers and revenue and complaints
