By Alyssa Royse

Now that we’ve been here for a couple weeks (almost) in our new and (somewhat) improved form, we’d like to know what we can do for you.

When Marcelo and I put our heads together, we came up with a vision of a single web site that served the startup community. Our internal tagline, from the get go, has been: By, For and About Seattle Starteruppers.
  • We put together a small editorial team to write articles that are not about our own companies, but about the community in general.
  • We aggregate blogs from members of the startup community.
  • We have a page of job postings.
And we have a lot of stuff in the works, (bulletin boards, advice columns, directories of service providers, a way for you to submit news, a gossip column…..) but we want to know what you want, and how you want it.

Obviously, we can’t do all of it immediately, but we’re pretty nimble, and we made this site for you. Rather than emailing Marcelo and I directly (which you can do if you really want to) it would be great if we could start a comment thread here and get your opinions. From what content you want to how you want it organized, let us know.

And if you have a story you want us to cover, or you want to be added to our list of experts that we like to interview, email us – I really do only offer advice to the community from people I know, like and trust, so the best way to do that is to get to know you.

Thanks guys.  We’re all in this together, so let’s make it good.

Cheers – Alyssa
